The Samsung BD-P1600 is a Blu-ray disc player that is fully Profile 2.0 compliant and supports Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD Master Audio decoding. A few annoying design quirks aside, it includes everything you’d want in a Blu-ray disc player. The front panel on the Samsung BD-P1600’s flips downs when the drive tray opens. While some people may find this design quirky and interesting, we erred on the side of being annoyed. Read more

4.0/10Reviewer: Duke, Channel News8 August 2009Samsung's customer service in Australia is in my the worst customer service and tech support I have ever encountered anywhere. They never live, up to promises, call you back when promised, give accurate info. They didn't even know what 'BD Live' meant, some reps didn't even know what that they had Blu-Ray players. I've been given wrong information, misleading information. If you try to esclate it their head office people can't be contacted or will not return messages. Read more
