The second 3D-ready smartphone to be released in Australia comes from HTC, and on first looks it betters LG’s debut model by providing a high-resolution glasses-less 3D screen, solid build, and 3D camera with flash. Flick your finger over the screen fast enough and HTC Sense spins your homescreens around like a spinning top. The camera is one of the strongest parts of the Evo 3D. It even includes photographic filters that work in 3D. Read more

    • Excellent glasses-less high-resolution screen, 3D camera can take shots at night, Latest version of Android
    • Very little supplied 3D content, No guide mode for first-time 3D users... which will probably be everybody, Regular 2D video capture only available in 720p HD

LG was the first to market with its and HTC has now followed suit with the — available through Telstra and Vodafone in Australia. The HTC EVO 3D isn't a bad smartphone by any means, but the extra bulk it carries to support the 3D camera function just isn't worth the outlay. The HTC EVO 3D is definitely a chunky phone, largely thanks to its dual-lens camera. Read more

    • 3D experience is impressive, Excellent build quality, Slick UI and performance
