    16 March 2018

With the S9 and S9+, Samsung swing their engineering talent, brand power and their overall focus back towards the camera side of the equation and, while the results of this pivot aren’t by any means poor, the whole thing does come off as a little predictable. Read more

    • Great camera for both stills and video, Infinity Display still great
    • Battery life, Bixby still kinda mediocre, Your mileage may vary on AR emojis

There’s no doubting that Samsung’s Galaxy S9+ is a top phone, and given what it had to work with, it’s no surprise. The Galaxy S8 and S8+ were excellent handsets, clones of each other set to bigger sizes, and using those as a template practically guarantees more excellence from Samsung. Read more

    • Still a great design, Fantastic performance, Some of the fastest 4G around, Excellent screen, Really solid camera, Fingerprint sensor is in a better location, Biometric security is good, Water resistant, Supports wireless charging, Includes a decent pair of wired AKG in-earphones and a case in th...
    • Low-light isn't great for video, AR Emoji is a very unimpressive gimmick, Battery life could be better, Bixby can get it very, very wrong, Expensive

When we reviewed Samsung's large-screened new Galaxy smartphone last year, the Galaxy S8+ , we described it as "futuristic" for its huge display and edge-to-edge design. But the future arrived quickly afterward as most major smartphone makers, Apple included, adopted some version of a large,... Read more

  1. Nice phone, but good luck getting Bluetooth workin

Happy with the phone itself, but it appears Samsung have upgraded to Bluetooth 5. Consequently, I cannot get Bluetooth working on any of my devices that my S7 would connect to no problems. It will not even find the devices in the Bluetooth scan - including Fitbit, car stereos (x2) and soundbar. Read more

Has great camera and functionality but struggles to align with common apps that were easily aligned on the S7. Struggles with android auto especially. Read more

For available phones I'm sure it's the best, but for what you pay you get a lot less then expected. Samsung do some things right, but most things wrong. Would be good if they could improve the camera, music player and contacts. Not impressed. Read more

Samsung chose to stick with the s8 design wack a better camera on the device and increase performance and ram also shave a few less bezels off the screen too. I did like the fact that they moved the fingerprint sensor under the camera making the device more easier to unlock then the previous gen. Read more

Had the S9+ for over a month now. Love the phone. Great features. Very few things I'd change. Pros: Great screen, dual speaker audio is amazing, still have 3.5mm jack, fast and smooth, awesome camera Cons: Battery life can diminish fast based on what you are doing, screen protector does make screen...
