I traveled to Tasmania and it was a good test.. I found it good for general landscapes and portraits. I have not used video much. One disappointment is the lack of an included GPS. In general, the good points are lots of megapixels and 14 bit RAW. Read more
The 70D is my 5th Canon and 3rd Canon DSLR, and each has improved on the previous model. It took me (70 y o) a little time to work out the functions which are set out a little differently from my 550 but on top of it now and extremely happy with the photo quality. Read more
Great features, relatively light weight, easy to find settings within the menu bar. Love the way the touch screen works to change any settings quickly and easily so I can take my shot if conditions change and I need to make an adjustment. Read more
