Where the 70D really excels is in its Live View mode, where the Dual Pixel CMOS AF system comes into play and delivers fast and accurate focusing for both stills and movie recording in most types of lighting, from bright sunlight to artificially-lit indoor situations. Read more

This 20 megapixel camera uses dual pixel technology, designed to improve auto-focus performance in live view mode. The idea is to incorporate phase detection – the focus method used by DSLRs – and contrast detection – the method in compact cameras – into the one camera. Read more

I have had the camera less than a year and photographed extensively with it. I'm very pleased with it on the whole. Have had my Canon 70D for over three years and have nothing to complain about. It has currently been over 100,000 exposures and still works as good as the day I bought it. It also works great to film with, however, it needs an external mic for best sound. Read more

A major upgrade from my previous 350D. The 'double' canon series feels a lot meatier and more substantial. The extra control buttons and 'fast wheel' on the back makes the camera much more rapid maneuver. Have not found any oddities or miss yet. Read more

A camera (with the right lens) then takes the unbelievable images in terms of color and clarity. Easy to use and very features if you so desire. Super! Read more
