Published in D-Photo Issue No. 65, we printed that the Nikon D5500 DSLR was 740g in weight (body only). This was an error and should have read 470g (body only). Here’s the corrected review for you to see what Nikon’s latest DSLR can achieve. Read more

The D5500 is a competent camera that can meet most of the needs of its target market. Upgrading to the D5500 could be justified for buyers who skip a couple of generations, as well as owners of two or three year old D3*** models. Read more

There is so much good with this camera that would take eternity to go through so mention the most important thing to me. SMALL. It seriously weighs 470gr. Many DSLR cameras have difficulty with video. This can handle the gently, silent auto focus with AF-P lens. The rotatable screen to film itself. Read more

Have now had this camera for a while and are very satisfied. I have small hands get a good grip on it. Like the rotary touch display. Provides good clear images and are not too difficult to understand. It is not so great either, so it is easy to take along. Read more

After using this camera for a long time, I can say that it takes great nice pictures. It was then bundled with Nikon 18-140mm kit lens, which is recommended * strongly * as it has significantly better anti-skakmöjligheter compared with Nikon kit lens on 18-55 and 18-105. Read more
