This is my first slr camera and lens and it didn't disappoint me. It took me a bit to learn the functions and settings. I'm a beginner and still a lot to learn. I love the manual mode wherein I can experiment and play with light. I just probably need a speed light to take better portraits. Read more

I brought this camera after wanting it for so long and I can honestly say that it is worth the investment. Takes excellent close up photos and features in the camera are easy to use once you understand what each mode of the camera does. Read more

    • Had a 5100 before which is now broke. was going to get the 7200 but glad i got the 5600. Lighter, more compact img quality the same. touch screen makes making changes alot faster then my 5100 and makes up for not having to setting dials (7200)
    • doesnt have 2 setting dials. 1 memory card slot. max 1/4000 shutter time compared to 7200.
