3 December 2011This is the flagship Sony DSLR with their unique translucent mirror system that passes some light to the image sensor and reflects part of the light to the focusing sensor. Combined with an electronic viewfinder the benefit of this arrangement over the conventional mirror/prism is that it allows full time live view and tracking auto-focus in movie mode. This is only useful if the EVF is any good, and the finder in the Sony is a stunning 2.4m dot OLED device. Read more
