Closing Comments Look, if you're sick of Kingdom Hearts filler games, I don't blame you. But Kingdom Hearts Re:coded may actually get you back in the spirit. Despite this, at about 25 hours, it feels like this game takes an awfully long time to tell a short and shallow story. The punch picks up at the very end, but the majority of it feels like a slow retread of old territory without much new information to impart. Once you finish the game, there are additional debugging challenges to take on, trophies to earn, and a "secret" ending movie to unlock that leads to the next chapter. Read more
