If there’s one way to beat the competition, it’s on quality, but Sony goes above and beyond with the WH-1000XM3, as these things are just so damned good. The Sony WH-1000XM3 has it all, and while last year’s XM2 were fantastic , these are even better. Read more

We said last year that Sony had put Bose “on notice” when it comes to active noise-cancelling headphones. Our review of Sony’s WH-1000XM2 reported that Sony not only delivered incredible audio quality, but that the company offered some high-tech features Bose couldn’t match. Read more

I spent most of last year investigating the world of in-ear sports earphones. I haven’t had many to look at this year, so I thought it time to look at the other side of the headphone range with some noise-cancelling over the ear cans from Sony – and why start at the bottom of the range when their... I was a hesitant to pay so much for a pair of headphones right up until I put them on. They live up to the hype and I don't regret spending the money. Sound is excellent, noise cancelling is awesome, controls are sweet, and they're comfortable to wear. My best purchase all year! Read more

Our apartment building has really bad noise insulation. You can hear the neighbours walking around at all hours on the floorboard. This headphone cancels out pretty much all of these thumping noise or reduce the shoes noise to a barely noticeable thump (with no music playing). Read more

My first proper set of anc headphones. Was tossing up between this one and the Bose QC. Very happy with the buy, even though initially the idea of spending this much on headphones really went against my cheap nature. Worth every cent. It feels like i get to rediscover all my favorite songs. Read more
