Great build quality, phenomenal battery life and a lovely keyboard/touch pad combo make HP's Folio 13 one of our favourite ultrabooks. Read more

    • Excellent build quality, Backlit keyboard, lovely touch pad, Gigabit Ethernet port
    • Very slow video-encoding performance, Although loud, speakers are extremely treble biased and sharp, Port labels are under the laptop — how is this useful?

The Folio 13 is one of the best Ultrabooks on the market, simply because it's a joy to use and it has all the right features: long battery life, a thin chassis, responsive performance, an SSD, USB 3.0, Gigabit Ethernet, full-sized HDMI and a backlit keyboard. It's a little heavier than other Ultrabooks, but it's so well balanced that you don't really notice the extra weight. We recommend it. Read more

Despite what many reviews say I don't find this laptop to be lacking in appearance at all. Even though it may not taper at the edges like others it's still quite thin. It's a great size and weight, perfect for me as I use it at university and need something light to carry across campus. The battery life it great too, usually lasts around 7-8hrs.Track-pad is also good with no functionality issues. My only big issue is how reflective the screen is. Read more

    • great battery life, quick to start up, light and compact
    • reflective screen, loud fan noise
