You return home after this battle for a brief but heartfelt moment of nostalgia. It's unfortunate that this gentle postlude is betrayed by the routine encounters and slipshod execution that preceded it. Because it doesn't combine its bits and pieces into a cohesive vision, Dragon Age II: Legacy shines a spotlight on the run-of-the-mill nature of its individual elements. This game is a fair PS 2 title, for the year 2003. It has loads and loads of cut scenes for those who like that sort of thing, and the combat system is pretty enjoyable if you like enemies teleporting onto you and exploding in a mist of vicera as you kill them. It also has plenty of mindless 'fetch' quests as you run around the approximately 300 square meters of reused maps available. Did I mention lots of cut scenes. Read more
