The truth is, of course, Mass Effect 2 is an awesome game on any system. Horses for courses, but the highest fidelity, most accurate experience is the PC version. The difference is subtle enough that it’s really not going to matter either way, but there’s no particular reason not to get the PC version. Read more
I hope you've hung onto your copy of Mass Effect 2. After a series of middle of the road downloadable add-ons, BioWare has finally hit on something that is sure to please most everybody. Like many downloads priced at 560 Microsoft points, Overlord a bit short. Don't let that deter you, though. This is one of the best series of missions that the franchise has yet seen. Read more
Decent shooting does not make for a fitting finale to Mass Effect's second chapter, however--not when prior add-ons have set the bar so high. Compared to what has come before in this universe, Arrival is a husk--outwardly familiar, yet lacking the character and careful construction that give Mass Effect 2 its soul.
