In the end, Infamous 2 is a good sequel, but not one that ups the ante in any real way. Anyone who enjoyed the first game will most likely love the sequel, just don’t expect a leap in quality like you see in some other sequels. If you are looking for a fun game where you get to truly feel like a powerful superhero, look no further than Infamous 2 . Read more

Infamous 2 is a slick sequel to the 2009 open world action adventure game. It manages to stay true to the elements that made the original a success, while adding enough new features and contains a well enough scripted plot to keep things interesting. Nothing exists in Infamous 2 just because , and that’s something developer Sucker Punch should be commended for. When combined with how well-executed just about everything in the game is, the overall package is one of PlayStation 3’s best and a must-play for fans of the first game. Don’t be deceived by niche subject matter like I was when the original Infamous first came out. Read more

I'm a sucker for sandbox games and solid third-person action titles, but Infamous didn't intrigue me leading up to its 2009 release. Superheroes and comic books aren't my thing, and I figured I would be just fine ignoring it while waiting for something more alluring to come through. But I was wrong. Having been tasked with writing the IGN Guide for Infamous, I jumped into an experience I thought wouldn't interest me and ended up loving every second of it. Read more

Tedious fights are a sour trend in Infamous 2. The combat is at its best in wide-open spaces, but all too often, the flexibility afforded by these locales is taken away from you. You may find yourself in a warehouse or surrounded by walls of ice, and with your movement abilities severely limited, fights turn into arduous wars that drag on for an interminably long time. • Varied artistic design brings New Marais to life, Lots of different enemy types, Powerful creation tool, Combat and platforming can still be lots of fun.
    • Laughable morality system, Combat is frequently unbalanced, Uneven pacing.
