The mixture of over-the-top action, outrageously powerful weapons and cinematic presentation ensures that the non-stop thrill-ride action keeps the adrenaline flowing throughout. Floors fall out from under you, mega-beasts burst through walls just when you think you have everything under control and the constantly evolving options and interactions ensure that things never get dull or repetitive. It's not perfect but it's damn good and very, very highly recommended. Read more

Closing Comments Unbelievably, the developers at Ready at Dawn managed to top what they did with Chains of Olympus, delivering a longer, deeper, and more graphically beautiful game than even they thought was originally possible. Ghost of Sparta is, without a doubt, one of the best games available for the PSP. Just when I thought I had Kratos figured out, I’ve been given insight into another piece of his past that makes his anger much more understandable. Read more

We get some insight into this in God of War: Ghost of Sparta, which does a wonderful job adding depth to Kratos' character while delivering one of the most fun and beautiful gameplay experiences on the PSP. The biggest problem with Ghost of Sparta is that it tries so hard to mirror previous entries in the series that it doesn't have its own identity. This hinders the gameplay occasionally because a feeling of deja vu permeates all of your actions, and the PSP just can't match its console peers. But when Sparta's biggest problem is that it's too close to the excellent games that came before it, that's not a huge setback. Read more

Ghost of Sparta pushes the psp to its limit in almost every facet. This Game can be summed up in one word as EPIC. Inspired from the Jaw Dropping boss fights of God Of War 3, this game deserves to win the title of PSP's Game of the Year 2010. A must buy for any God Of War fan and PSP owner. Read more
