Closing Comments It may not be nearly as deep as the first game in terms of levels, but LocoRoco 2 delivers the same kind of visual flair, solid gameplay and musical addictiveness that the first game had. By expanding on the number of mini-games and diversions, the game adds a ton of content to the series, and provides plenty of things to do for those players that feel a strong need to unlock everything within the title. LocoRoco 2 isn’t better than the original and it’s certainly not worse. It’s more of the same, with a few tweaks here and there – and that’s just perfect in my books. I’m not sure whether the series has a third game in it, not without bringing something new to the table, however I wouldn’t say no to another ‘expansion’ a year or so from now either. Read more
LocoRoco for the PSP is back, and as cutesy as ever. Fans of the original game will have a fair idea of what to expect from this sequel, but there is a descent amount of new game play to label this as a worthy follow up title. I also believe this is the first full PSP title available via download of the PSN, as well as on UMD from your favourite retailer. If you’ve never played a LocoRoco game before you’d be forgiven for thinking it’s a childish kids game, not so. Read more
Just like the original Loco Roco, this game is addictively fun. You control the gravitational direction of the gameworld to manipulate the Loco's. It's fun and quirky with music and animations to match. The only thing that stops this getting an excellent rating is that it is noticably shorter than the first Loco Roco. Read more
