   The first Valkyria Chronicles game was something of a sleeper hit in the Western world, gaining high review scores and a substantial cult following, but lacking the sales to be considered a blockbuster. In Japan on the other hand, the game was not only met with critical acclaim but also sold very well – 77,000 copies in the first week of release is no small feat.    Valkyria Chronicles II is a great game. While it feels a bit more like a spin off than a sequel to the first Valkyria Chronicles story-wise, the gameplay is even better and much more involving. The new gameplay features give the game much more strategic depth while still playing out at a pace meant for gaming on the move and he combination of strategy and action makes it well worth the price for any gamer looking for something different.    What a brilliant sequel from SEGA! If you haven't played the first one (on PS3) definitely have a go! This sequel is not as emotionally charged as the first, but don't let that deter you from buying this title. This game still has enough to make it well worth the buy. With more classes and more customisation with many endearing characters, Valkyria Chronicles II gives you a truly unique experience. Read more
