Overall Saints Row the Third is more than just the middle finger to game censorship and feminists. For all of its crude and juvenile content, it’s a hell of a lot of fun - albeit shameful fun. Sometimes we tend to take videogames a bit too seriously and, although this game probably goes too far in the other direction, you can’t discredit Volition for letting loose. Read more

Professor Genki's ride, the Genki Mobile, is especially effective at mowing down pedestrians, and it sports flamethrowers on the front and sides. Saints Row: The Third is pure unadulterated fun. Its humour is lewd and crude and often deliberately offensive. The action sequences are some of the most over-the-top sequences that you will ever see in a game and as far as action games go, Saints Row: The Third is one of the best. The game may not be a technical marvel nor does it masterfully tells a compelling story but as a fun action game, it excels. Read more

I tried my best to avoid watching any SR3 trailers and I'm glad I did! SR3 is a fantastic compliment to SR2 and delivers on all fronts. Volition has turned their amps to 11, everything is open for punishment. The plot is in full sillyness, from the big bang opening to the mission that follows. How about we stock up on ammo... oh wait, we're out of cash... Let's rob the armory! It's a shame the game has been overshadowed by other releases. Read more
